This book is just what I need - a lousy one so I will stop downloading books and get things done in real life! 35 yr-old Ethan is a shallow bully who is determined to convince young fake widow Lily (20) into having an affair. She keeps talking to herself about whether she should or shouldn’t give in to his devilish good looks and then gives in anyway.

Oh, dear. I can’t deal with all of these internal monologues. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is the author’s earlier work.

I’m having a hard time with the first act of this book. All of the excitement of the premise happened so early than now I’m just annoyed with Ethan

I'm seriously *thisclose* to skimming this to get to the part where this "I'm a widow" farce ends. It's just not interesting and I can't stand how uppity the heroine is acting over it. Good Lord.
