Status Updates From The Fifth Hour

What a fun book!

Angie has the sense of humor of early Janet Evanovich. I haven't laughed so much reading a novel in a while. And she dies it masterfully while pulling you into a spooky tale of ghosts and intrigue.

Now I'm running into some problems... there were a couple excessively long descriptions that I ended up skimming past because they lent nothing to the story, and something just happened with the POV. It switched in the middle of a passage for no reason, then the entire passage completely shifted to exclude two of the characters, then a couple pages later it was like it had never happened. Odd...

I like this book more than I thought I would, so far. The writing is great, and the characters are completely likeable. All I have to say is that I'm not sure about Adam and Ginger's relationship. As readers we don't know how they met or how long they were dating before they broke up years ago or what draws them to one another. So I'd like to have that explained soon.
