My first full EQ novel, it has taken me a while to catch the rhythm of this — which does start somewhat slowly. But now it is getting its gear. This is the earliest of the best, I am told. So that makes sense. I have a platter of 10 EQ novels on my nearest TBR shelf.

Starting to see why this is seemingly the highest rated one of the nationality series. The latest Ellery deduction was very fun to read. Meticulous in all the right ways. The banter between the Queens is extra fun here too.
