The author is the guy whose tai chi style I'm currently learning.
These are his views on the tai chi classics in Chinese literature. It's very philosophical and very Chinese. I can imagine if you're completely unfamiliar with Chinese literature and philosophy that this text will not make a whole lot of sense.

There’s a lot of unscientific thinking here but also much that is useful.

The discussion of tai chi and physics is nearly identical to Shorinji Kempo’s 理法 (principles of the fulcrum, momentum, meridians, and so forth).
