This book is so damn repetitive and boring.

While this tale is heroic, I’m trying to figure out why the pride behind being Anglo-Saxon needed to be mentioned during such a tragedy…

I’d feel the exact same way if someone said this as a survivor of slavery, the holocaust, the civil rights movement, apartheid, 9/11, etc.

That was a really weird comment to make…

As someone who’s been studying the Titanic since I was about 10, it comes as a great surprise that I’m finally reading this survivors account.
I’ve seen the documentaries and interviews, but reading one of the first survivor accounts was way at the bottom of my list for some reason.

So far, Gracie is painting a wonderful picture of that night. I simply cannot imagine such horror.
