sato haruo- a record of the nonchalant
is amazing and i cant put my finger on why it feels so relatable? the cirucmstances of the roses death are the only hopeful part of hte entire story. the transofrmation into plants seems analogocous to the commodification of labour.

I liked the law student and the Garrett a lot.
Also love configuration .
Both of these short stories deal with loss of a perceived great potential . And a meandering life farce of a life afterwards.
Configuration makes language so malleable. It reminds me of catch 22, :but deali~g with senses instead of logic. It reminds me of how I've felt when I've been sick. How my senses have blended together . It
