Still reading this book attempting to glean more "insight" into what I've been diagnosed with. As opposed to convincing me more that I'm mentally ill, it's doing the opposite and making me think that some of my experiences are not consistent with at least atypical Schizophrenia.

So far book is quite enlightening, covering concepts such as Pagan and Christian beliefs, anthropological history, and genetics and medicine. Whilst having personally been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, some of the things I have experienced - such as precognition and "unlearned knowledge", in addition to various physical anomalies aren't explained by the diagnosis of "mental illness".
