Status Updates From Saving Rain (Rain Trilogy, #1)

This is a DNF for me. I have way to much to read, the first chapter was freakishly deceptive because it was all Raina's pov. When we hop into the meat of the story the head hoping and tense confusion is so bad my head hurt. I literally got four pov in one paragraph at one point. I'm done.

“Shaking her head in self-directed fury, Raina reminds herself that it doesn’t matter if Chris sensed anything, it wouldn’t matter if she had slept with Kas or anyone, he has no right to do this to her!” Finally breaking the chain of the rape culture! Thank you new adult author I just started reading.

good story line, bad writing. makes it hard to finish the book, but finish it I will!

Hhhm reading in third person - present tense is just wierd!

..and I spoke too soon when I said nothing was happening!! The meek angel has grown some horns and stood up for herself!! I'm digging that!!! Run Raina...run!!! Glad you have grown a back bone!!!

I wanted to like this so bad, but this story being in "present tense" is bugging me, and it is a little on the slow side...I really like Kas though..

I am really loving Kas..he is such a sweetheart..and Raina, I feel so bad for..she has lived through hell and back..

Wow! All I can say is that the last 50% of this book had me completely hooked! I can't wait to read book #2 in this series! The last half of this storyline really played out like a movie! So, so good! My official review is coming soon!

This book has really picked up pace. I can hardly put it down! I love the way the story is going now.

I'm really liking this story so far! Kas seems like such a sweet guy. :)
