I want to keep reading, but I can’t. This is really keeping me invested. I’m dying what’s going to happen next. I want Jack and Tess to be okay. I want them together again. I need them together. But I have a feeling that’s not going to happen. Lots more pain coming.

Things are getting intense and raw between Jack and Tess. Lots of emotions. Lots of rawness. Lots of sexy. It’s a nice balance between the romance and the mystery. Though it’s heavy on the romance at the moment.

I was right about Jack and his paternity. It just hit me right away when the hints starting coming. Feel bad for Jack though at this big bombshell that just exploded his world. I wonder if this secret had anything to do with Asa’s murder. They are making it seem that way, but it could be a red herring. Can’t wait to find out.

Things just got more complicated, though it did fill in the puzzle pieces of what happened between Tess and Jack. Now I understand more, but this just added another layer conflict that’s going to make there be all this tension between them as the solve the mystery. I wonder if they will even work it out by book’s end.

Love triangle, though not really. Information on Jack on the victim’s computer, suggesting that Jack might not be who he thinks he is. I smell a paternity test coming. Could Jack be apart of the Worthington family? I’m thinking it’s a possibility. Let’s see what secrets get revealed and how complicated it gets.

Wow, this is going to be interesting. The murder at a dinner party. As someone joked in the book, this really does feel like a game of Clue. It has same vibes. Lots of suspects for an unlikeable victim. What makes things more complicated though is Tess’s relationship with Jack, who she hadn’t seen for 3 years after he rejected her. She doesn’t want to see him, but he wants see her.
