Interesting book. The part about sexual alchemy creeped me out. I am sorry but sex and acupuncture needles do not mix.

So far I am really enjoying this story. I like how the author treats the relationship between the protagonist and his young girlfriend, I was expecting it to be creepy, and sorta-Lolita-ish, but the author has treated the relationship with care.

This has been a great story with a dry witted sarcastic hero. I hope the book remains this good, I might have found another series that I want to read.

Amazon recommended this book to me since I like Eric Lustbader's Ninja series. An unexpected but pleasant discovery of another author whose work centered around Asian themes. For once Amazon got it correct - I have so far enjoyed this book. I love the sarcasm and dry wit of Randall Lee.

This is nothing like I was expecting.

It is hard to finish...

I hate this book. The central mystery is interesting enough that I want to finish. The endless description of hot 26 year old ass makes me want to throw it across the room.

I'm SO SICK of hearing how hot Tracy is. I GET IT. Randall is into her because she's hot, and they have lots of sex. She's not interesting, or funny, or useful. But she is hot! And her hotness will be described in excruciating detail every. Single. Time. She shows up.
