Status Updates From The Children's Bible in Colour

Isn’t this how the IDF (and a substantial proportion of Israelis)are dealing with the Palestinians? Some people say that the Muslim religion and the Quran are inherently violent. Well,upon reading this bible the same can be said of the Jewish religion and its holy book (the old testament).

P.228: Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I remember what Amalek did to Israel, how he laid in wait for him on the road when he came from Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But slay both man and woman, child and baby, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”

Isn’t this how the IDF are dealing with the current Palestinians? TBC

P120. Exodus: Time and again I notice that “God’s people” (the descendants of Abraham and Israel) are a thankless, ungrateful bunch, frequently complaining and moaning to their God. Entitled and whining. God doesn’t come off very well either: “… then I will show my power over Pharaoh … and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have shown them my power.” Powermad.

P. 13- “The Lord God had formed man of the dust of the ground, and had breathed into him the breath of life, and man had become a living soul”. I’ll take soul to mean consciousness or mind.
