Status Updates From Great Expectations

I am finding this second volume way more boring, just like it happened with A Tale of Two Cities. While here the writing style is less convoluted, it's still hard to read, and i feel some chapters don't add much to the story. I think i should read Dickens in translations first; not knowing how the story will end makes it hard to power through the dense boring parts....
