And why couldn't he be with her exactly? I get her family's terrible history but could not pin point his reason for not wanting to be with her because he continued to say "don't let the history form you, you're better than that." I just felt like I went in confusing circles in this novel.

Story ended on 184 but the book contains 192 pages I was pretty confused throughout this novel but again at the end. I couldn't understand what the actual plan was between Pato and Adriana once he released all his secrets. He kept saying "I need to let you go" or "I'm letting you go" yet they continued to make love and work together.

I feel like I'm going in circles reading the same conflict over and over again. I wish it had more depth of other conflicts such as the agreement between Pato and his brother or history. This circle between Pato and Adriana has gotten old...

Sometimes I still find myself confused as to the location or time we may currently be in. We're on a plane one moment then flashback without realizing it then back in the plane again. It's mainly flashbacks that confuse me - I feel they weren't written well to carry the reader

The beginning of this novel was very confusing. It wasn't until the history of Adriana's family was released and series of events seemed to fall into order that things finally began to make sense.

Paperback contains 184 pages. I don't like that Adriana is easily (or seems to be) easily tempted by Pato. I want her to be strong, steadfast and fierce
