Loving it! The author immediately takes the reader to the cloudy, rainy days of NW Washington. I can hear Joe’s stomach growl and feel his hurt when his step-mother is mean to him. Don’t get me started on the rowing! My muscles ache just thinking about the boys’ workouts. Very good book so far.
