Status Updates From The Lost Book of Anggird

I don't think I can read this. Everything happens suddenly. All of a sudden he kisses her...zero lead up. Then she leaves...also why...no real conversation. Like she has been there for 9 years! Why would leaving for her old home be the logical choice?

I do generally prefer my protagonists to be less angsty and more stoic than this, though their brokenness is well accounted for by abuse in their pasts.

I also felt the transition from "people who thought each other somewhat attractive-looking but deeply annoying in person" to "people who banged on a nightly basis" came too quickly and suddenly.

Now they're on the run, for reasons. Let's see how that plays out.
