Closted gay guy comes out and is shocked at homophobia??? The authour should've just cut all the side characters, the annoying weird someone trying to run him over subplot and just made it about two guys reconnecting

This book has some promise, if it would just get rid of all the supporting characters lol. An annoying over involved sister who attacks the main character and calls him selfish for hiding his feelings after his father threatened him about them as a child. I wish straight people would stop writing gay stories without knowing anything about how gay people think lol.

DNF @ 19%. first, backstory totally lacking (why is tyce even there? does he go to uni with them? if so, why didnt erik talk to him even once in the last 5 years?). and, two, i dont like flashbacks.

Okay. So his VERY unsupportive sister has just dumped his ex in his lap and got pissed because it went badly (tho certainly not badly enough for her to hav slapped him). I'm dying from the lack of sympathy. She KNOWS how their dad is and he's been totally alone yet he gets no love.
