AND THE CHILDREN SHALL LEAD is another stupid ST:OS with a possessive Angel Creature (who is using the children to take the Enterprise). Well, it's time to make the kids cry and break the friendly angel's spell on them.

THE GAMESTERS OF TRISKELION is classis ST:OS... a dominant alien wanting to test is captured space voyagers (why?) and of course, they're Gamblers. and of course, Kirk can talk himself out of trouble with an excellent bet.

PATTERNS OF FORCE is an almost unimaginable propaganda episode for the Jewish people... why it was slipped into the writing is unknown to me. ST:OS did like to run Earth parallel plants so maybe that was all this was.

So, in Star Trek 11, the fact that a planet of near-Human humanoids developed a culture nearly identical to Rome was considered logically rational as just another case of "parallel development"...but in Star Trek 12, a planet of near-Human humanoids developing a culture nearly identical to Nazi Germany is "virtually impossible"...
