Status Updates From Wandering Stars

They really gloss over the treatment of American Indians in school. It's so sick. The current narrator, Jude Star, is (understandably) apathetic to his situation. He reminds me a bit of Chief Bromden, but that's probably just because he's mute, and therefore more introspective, with some similar traumas.

Wow. First Tommy Orange novel. The writing…amazing like truly had me underlining sentences talking about the way the wind sounds. Love the distinct voice he has when writing. I’m on Victoria’s chapter and it took me a minute to get into it if I’m being honest. The short snippets of generations is honestly genius. But couldn’t hold my attention. Waiting for the characters to feel fully fleshed out.
