Status Updates From Andrew Wyeth: A Secret Life...

Betsy Wyeth sums up the harsh New England syndrome: “If you are tough enough, the the thing you love rot, go right by it every day, be tough enough, spit on it, call it the old woman- this thing that meant more to you than anything in the world, let it rot”

Mostly this just makes me frustrated w/ Wyeth, but I should have expected that. & I don't know what's worse -- Wyeth's own relation to race, or the biographer's.
