I wanted to finish tonight but good conversation stole away the time and honestly I'm not upset about it ☺️🫶

Book V has been my favorite thus far. So many good reflections on how easily people are deceived by false teachers, how important it is to be able to discuss the faith with knowledge and truth, and so much more. Most importantly, how God's plan and timing is perfect.

And what an example Augustine's mother sets to all mothers! How earnestly she prayed for her son and was an upstanding woman in the church.
