Status Updates From The Curate of Glaston

Guessing on page count. But WOW... some GREAT stuff in these chapters.

I am falling in love with this one. Oh boy...

Kind of a slow start. But just as I was done for the night, I got to where I didn't want to be done.

Okay, so I'm done with two of the books. I still like The Curate's Awakening best, but The Lady's Confession turned out really well. There were some great lessons in there.

Oh, tonight had some GREAT quotes. Wow. Like:

"True authority is born in a heart of submission."
"Surely more people would allow themselves to become thus changed if they realized how greatly the coming of the kingdom of God is slowed by a simple lack of courtesy...true courtesy, putting others at ease by our look or tone, is a most lovely and indispensable grace."

Oh, boy. This one already promises to be good. I thought I'd read it before but I don't think I have now. Hmmm...

Just finished "The Curate's Awakening" (Thomas Wingate, Curate) and I'd forgotten how much I LOVE that story. Whoa... Only MacDonald can write a sermon disguised as a story and you still not feel preached at despite the fact that you have been.
