Meh. For one of my first horror books it was decent. But Sam’s character was that annoying coworker who rambles on about nothing and never shuts the fuck up and wont get to the point.
But half the time I would zone out bc I wasn’t sure what was happening and the tangents weren’t doing it for me.
I did like the evil mountain part of it though.
