I’ve never hated a male main character like this in my life

“She looks at his blue eyes lit by the yellow bulb. They’re nice eyes, but then most eyes are.
‘Faces without eyes,’ she tells him, ‘would all look alike. Like potatoes. Or rocks.’
‘Or clay before the sculptor gets to it.’
‘Or elbows.’”

I am just now seeing the reviews for this book being so low, but I actually like the book a fair amount…anyways I’ll just kind my business and keep reading
