Status Updates From Susan B. Anthony: Rebel Cru...

I may pick this book up again at some point, but for now. I'm setting it aside.

I've got to get busy and finish this book. I've been so busy recording my audiobook, that I've let it sit.

At this point int he book, Susan is meeting important leaders of the Suffrage movement and is becoming involved.

I finally sat down and started this book yesterday. Since it's based on Susan B. Anthony's journals and letters, it gives a fairly accurate account of how she felt about growing up in a world where women were not valued.

Anthony has become and more and more exposed to other abolitionists of like mind regarding anti-slavery and temperance. However, Anthony sees a third category of women's rights on the increase also. She has also witnessed three women whom she admires (Cady Stanton, Stone, and Bloomer) wear an item of clothing called "bloomers" (trousers for women under shorter skirts). Anthony has not yet donned this accoutrement.
