Status Updates From World of Wonders: In Praise...

I found my first incorrect animal on page 108, and I’m thoroughly annoyed. Now I feel like I have to go back and do a lot of fact checking. The pros and the reflections and the stories are beautiful, but now I cannot trust her research in animals, nor can I trust the editor or the publisher. 😬

I didn’t really know what to expect from this book, but so far it’s so wonderful. The author writes a memoir in the form of essays with animal and plant facts woven in. Beautiful writing.
