It’s getting better. We have a better idea of the antagonist, and we just “met” operator 7. And we know now that Bartholomew is not new to the tower, which is spooky considering I was pretty sure Bartholomew had Jennifer’s eyes,

I feel like the author is trying extremely hard to make the atmosphere creepy and unsettling. Nearly every sentence is just meant to add to that uneasy feeling and it’s a little annoying. I appreciate the lgbt rep. Some parts I did find creepy so far, but some annoy me in the same way as the writing style
