5 * This was well conceived romance about making decisions on your own time. There was no pressure to change each other. It’s just relaxing and nice. There is conflict in the book because what if that perfect bubble pops. what if one of them walks away and other one doesn’t want that but doesn’t want to impose but that’s who they are. If you read Jackie Lau romances, you might really enjoy Mina V. Esguerra’s catalog

Sabrina created Yumi cafe that is very similar to the one Victor’s parents used to own called Fire Clan. Her co-worker is giving her compliment that she’s built her own cafe. It’s hers now. She tries to make a point that their customers ( the young generation) know their cafe not for their similarities to Fire Clan but for Sabrina’s creations and touches. Sabrina feels hurt no one remembering Fire Clan days

Everyone thinks Victor loves baking and decorating because he is just good at it, takes it seriously, and isn’t unhappy while doing it but he knows different. he has a clear distinction that just because he is committed and thorough doesn’t signify love or passion on his end.

The pt he stumbles is that everyone will try to convince him he loves it. no matter his denials. he’s not believed.

i thought most of it was her pov but i’m sure chapter 7 is his.
