Status Updates From Who He Is (FireNine, #1)

My heart is just... shattered. I decided to say screw sleep and finish. I'm gonna be falling asleep at work tomorrow. I'm broken. I don't want to go on. Someone ease the pain for me, please.

*cringe* - I enjoy a friends with benefits trope if it’s done well. But this is not one of those times. If it doesn’t pick up soon, sadly, I will have to DNF.

Now we have some significant cheating going on. Eliza acts pretty immaturely after her and Gage hook up. Gage has a girlfriend and he’s using her to make Eliza feel uncomfortable and jealous. I’m not loving this book unfortunately.

Almost half way through and ... I’m bored. Nothing is happening. The main characters are in their mid/early twenties and I feel like their actions are a little too juvenile for me.

I’m having a hard time with this audiobook, especially some of the writing, for example: the author states the hero’s jeans were “snug yet loose”. What? Use a dictionary; snug means tight or close fitting. And the heroine throws up in the shower but then passionately kisses the hero without brushing her teeth or rinsing her mouth, yuck.

Yup... Definitely wants to watch the world burn. Lol. This book not even about him but he's hard to ignore

So Montana is like the Joker. Dude just loves to watch the world burn. Lol! Wants stuff and chaos to happen just for his entertainment. I love it.

I'm seriously thinking of bailing on this book. The characters are just ridiculous, the dialogue is frustrating and childish.

And I'm frustrated the H and H are stupid as F trying to understand what she even sees in his ass
