Status Updates From Kingdom of Trash

Already loving this book! I had a feeling there was some inspiration from Discworld just based on certain quirks of the writing in this story, such as the use of footnotes and this book's particular style of jokes, but seeing the reference about a turtle and elephants on pg 112 solidified that for me, and got a good laugh out of me (as did a majority of this book so far).

Very funny, thus far. I love the footnotes and the self awareness. I do think there are some parts that would've benefitted from some editing, alas this is an indie author. Nevertheless, thoroughly enjoying it to this point and have chuckled quite a bit. Very unique story and some threads are already unraveling. Overall, I would recommend. It's not going to be the most polished or complex, but I like it.

Well i have enjoyed this book so far i am going to put it on the backburner for now. The font is so tiny i can feel myself slipping back into the reading slump ive been fighting to be free of. I will come back to this, ill just have to get the ebook to do so.

I know is says ensemble cast in the goodreads description but i was not expecting damn near 15 characters of importance and more that havent been introduced yet but have been mentioned. My brain hurts dude. Im gonna forget all the names
