I hate uncalled third-act breakups. I understand that it will lead Avani to accept her feelings for Issa, but I find it unnecessary for Issa to go on “dates” while still bearing Avani’s mark on her neck and after having requested to mark her (which Avani declined).
Issa’s journey with the royal family and being a babysitter while Avani is on her angsty era is so unnecessary and boring.

“A part of me was already trying to steel itself against her criticism of my petite stature—the small swells of my breasts and overly rounded curve of my bottom. They weren’t fashionable.”

I can’t with her “i’m so small and my boobs are nice and i have a big ass but they’re not fashionable(??)” 😂😂😂😂

I'm still incredibly conflicted about this redemption arc still, but I'm ready to see how it goes 🫣

The grandmother has been dodgy since book 1, and knowing what happened in book 2, well I'm going to be livid with her in this book!

Damn, this seems like the saddest story ever. And I am starting to fear: no, this is going... there.... is it?!
