P&P is hard for me to get through… this, however, is SO GOOD! This is a spin off- a retelling based on Elizabeth ACCEPTING Mr. Darcy’s first proposal. I am so impressed with the spot on characterization and layers that are built into this novel- and it stays so true to the original character personalities.
I am so glad I picked this up- Mr. Darcy has some epic quotes in this, too!

No sé porqué esperaba algo del nivel de Pat Barker. Tenía falsas expectativas.
