I actually love this now, but I feel like the drama with Eli could have been drawn out more. And also, it didn't have to be a Beauty and the Beast retelling, I'm almost two thirds through and this is apparently where she sets off to meet the beast? Unless there's some sort of twist, it will be boring.

This is... slow-going and strange. Every few paragraphs there's a scene change and it is strangely final. GET ON WITH THE STORY, I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THIS. Is she meant to be about five for the entire story? Also, the whole "seasons" thing is hard to keep track of. I have no idea how old she is.
