Status Updates From The Overnight

I feel like it's too late in the game to abandon now but boy I want to!

Hm. This is my first book by this author so I can't say if this is typical, better or worse than his "usual" stuff.

What I can say is this: the retail stuff (while probably meant to be horrific in and of itself) isn't doing it for me (maybe because instead of a dusty old bookstore we get a chain bookstore in a mall?) and the few re-arranged books / damages aren't nearly as creepy as I'd have liked.

This is an odd find. I can't even remember how this came to be but I think my buddy-reader told me about it. Even went to the trouble of finding an affordable print copy since there is no audio, no nothing else.
