It officially got so stressful I felt like taking a break (unusual, even for Gaskell's poor peeps).
I still feel so bad for all these unwise people getting what they gave and not enjoying it.

I've been waiting for this

The ethics are being more.complex than the summaries let on; I like that.
Also, I agree with her thoughts on prayer when it's "I want this so bad, please make it the right choice." sort of thing.

I was going to say I'm not really enjoying it yet, but tis not quite true. The historical information I'm getting is fun, and I'm mildly invested in some of the characters.
