Status Updates From Historical Whodunits

The quality of whodunits seems to decrease as one nears the half-way point of the book. Clever to put the interesting whodunits at the beginning of the book. Not sure I'll return to this one.

There's so many stories in here I just don't have the energy to go forward with right now, so I read the one story I got it out for--John Dickson Carr's "The Gentleman from Paris"--and am returning it.

After a long wait I finally made another little dent in here, reading "Socrates Solves a Murder" by Breni James.

Read the first two stories: "The Locked Tomb Mystery" by Elizabeth Peters--an author who I've been meaning to read for a bit now--and "The Thief versus King Rhampsinitus" by Herodotus.
