Every time when I get to this point I’m yelling at Joanna, no, no, no!

A favorite novel by a favorite author. I reread this one every few years when I need some extra comfort.

This is on track to be a 5 star for me. I had such low expectations ("Wow i bet this will be cheesy!" *adds to cart*) but it's actually really, really good so far. I love the characters, the world, the twists and everything. It's also cheesy, but in a really fun way.

<spoiler> okay i don't know how to articulate why i love it so much but the fact that the kinda flamboyant, old, weird dude who may or may not be mad is the love interest in this book over the perfectly chiselled, notably handsome, nineteen-year-old action hero type.</spoiler>

The then-contemporary tech in this book really scratches an itch for me. I love wildly out of date "latest tech" in older books.
