Status Updates From Alice in Borderland, Vol. 9

Finished Vol 18 (4.5 stars) - Fucking brilliant dream sequence. My heart was in my throat the whole time. Would Mira’s first explanation of Borderland excited my sci-fi loving brain? Yes, but it would’ve killed the point of the whole series. The ending carried the author’s message faithfully until the last page - “What does it mean to be alive?”.

Finished Vol 17 (4.25 stars) - FUCK MY FUCKING CHUNGUS, THIS FUCKING SERIES MAN. OH MY GODDDD

I don’t know how, but Aso has somehow managed to get me to, if not like Niragi, at least appreciate what he’s adding to the story by still being around.
