Interesting characters.

Turnabout is fair play, but reciprocity is unconditionally divine.
This sleepy plot has uncoiled into a pretty decent story. Good writing will do that.

"I can’t go to pieces like I did the last time you left.”
These two need to get it together...

This exposition is sort of sprawling with scenery and lulling with half mystery. This couple obviously has the attraction....now, what are they gonna do about it?!

Well gosh! I sort of like "this marine".

Desire eddied around their ankles like a rising tide. The dim light picked out the planes of his cheekbones and forehead but threw the rest of his face into shadow.
Subtle, electric and sensual.

Hands on his hips, he watched her drive away, like the conversation was over.
It wasn’t.

Hmmm...I wonder about these two.

So the hero and heroine just went apartment hunting in the city I actually live in. I've never read a book that takes place in my SD city. But I was disappointed when they decided to go eat dinner at the new Thai place, because as much as I would love a Thai restaurant here, there isn't one.

So, this contemporary romance takes place pretty much where I live here in SD. But for some odd reason my brain has given the hero a southern accent.
