Calvin had followed Emmet without him knowing because supposedly he was predictable and convinced him to go back and try tomorrow. Apollo attacked Dr. Catalyst and hurt him badly, he’d knocked out Dr. Catalyst. So he took his tablet and tried to run away with it. While Emmet was trying to call the police and report his missing dog, they thought it was a prank, so he told his dad and he got the task force to try and look for him. He was really sad and mad about what had just happened, he then tried looking up Dr. Newton and left to his address

As they inspected it they found nothing too alarming, their parents came so Emmet hid it. Their parents told them that they were tired and were going to sleep earlier and be very busy because they had gotten more task by the governor.
