After Pop. 1280, I thought the world of this guy. My opinion of him has fallen very far. Very, very far. This would be a lousy book even if it was written by a teenager, but written by a 36-year-old man? It's more than disappointing; it's damning.

Unless you like James Joyce-style stream-of-stupidness, skip Chapter 18. I tried to read it, but I soon started just paging through as fast as my Kindle would let me. I shoulda known as soon as I saw a whole page in italics. I almost bailed. This thing is getting worse and worse. I think a fair bit of Tarmac McInconsistency was inspired by this.

I simply cannot believe there's anyone out there over the age of 12 who hasn't had his fill of Poor Ol' Underdog stories.

This is degenerating into a my-kooky-family-lol style thing.

This book is so worthless that it has been hailed as masterly by Stephen King.
