It’s a lot of fun so far, but some of the characters reactions are jarring

Considering this is the last available installment of my all-time favorite series written by my all-time favorite author, you'd think I would have finished this by now. I won't pretend to know how my brain works, I'm a mood reader for gods sake!! Maybe I'm savoring it. Dragging it out until we get a release date for Thorn of Emberlain. Or maybe I just don't like it as much as I loved the first two.
