What a convoluted ending! Only Wallace can do it (no, not really). Recall what I wrote at the beginning of this march.

The bad guys got Joan!

The Chinese just got Mabel!

Easy, enjoyable read!

Need something light so this is my first Wallace Krimi & it's #33 in his series. Got it out of the library as they didn't want it anymore (i.e. the price is right). Joan is asked to marry for money for all! Ha! Starts great & easy.

Das war gut. Teilweise fand ich es lieblos, aber das kann auch die Übersetzung gewesen sein. Aber die Story war klasse. Und seltsamerweise hat Fing Su genau auf den Tag heute gepasst.

I admit. I read the final chapter ahead of time. Now I really want to finish the book!

Entweder mag ich die Übersetzung nicht. Oder den Schreibstil. Ich kämpfe auch ein wenig mit den Charakteren, sie sind so wechselhaft. Aber die Story... die mag ich!

Ich weiß kaum, was ich denken soll. Aber ich bin gespannt, ob diese Geschichte mein Fall sein wird.

Ich weiß noch nicht, was ich von dem Buch erwarten soll.
