As awful as the Pueblo situation was and how shitty it was for the Navy to berate the Captain for losing classified material and the ship, I have to agree. Don’t give up the ship. Hard decision to make so I don’t hold it against him, but yeah they should of fought.

To the people who ask me why I say I’ll find a way to die before ever becoming a POW: read this book please and maybe you’ll get it

This book is making me think so hard about being a military officer and I need my friends to read this so I can discuss it with them. Such a hard situation. Might be the one of the most important books of my life and I’m no where near finished (Or am I just dramatic? Possible)

This book is so long holy moly. Very interesting stuff, and an extremely tough situation for the US. Capt Bucher signed the “confession” to try and save his men, was this the right decision? I think so, but maybe it wasn’t? Idk. Someone else please read this so I can discuss with you

USS Enterprise seems to have just left the Pueblo on their own to die while the North Koreans were capturing them?? What a horrendous situation this was, Air Force LT was trying very hard to get them help though cause we’re the better branch obvi

“No one told Bucher about the events in Seoul, or how the North Koreans might be expected to react to a ship” Oh yeah I can’t see how this could go possibly wrong
