Well I only ended up really enjoying one scene in the book. I would try this author again, but didn't really connect with her writing. 5 steam, Viking hero, marriage of convenience - does have a few content warnings. Full review to come!

There is a scene where the heroine pretends they have consummated the marriage to protect herself from her father and it was delightful - I am holding out hope this is my turn around for this book 😄

Meh I am struggling 🥲 bit of a jerk hero, instalust, kisses without tension buildup. I want to love a Viking romance but can’t find one I enjoy

I don’t want to hear the word “rot” or “rotted” again this whole book 🤢

I don't know if I will be able to continue listening to this book. So far its been kinda cheesy and not in a good way. Also kinda boring.
