Oh boy, this book was first published in 1999, and it very much is a product of its time. Despite loving the film and having read this before (granted over a decade ago), I was *not* prepared for the onslaught of problematic elements. Obviously, Rennison couldn't have foreseen the exposure of the disgusting Rolf Harris, but other things like the lesbophobia and racist remarks are definitely not OK.
