TYPE OF CONFLICT: Poached is a character vs. character conflict. Teddy is trying to find out who stole Kazoo and whoever stole Kazoo is trying to not get caught and maybe even frame Teddy. Page 179 states," If I didn't figure out who Kazoo's kidnapper was before then, J.J. might not have any choice but to order my arrest.". This shows that Teddy is against another person in a character vs character conflict.

ARCHETYPES: Poached is a quest. Like other books in this series, Teddy has to solve a mystery, In Poached, Teddy has to figure out who stole the koala. I know this because on page 132 it says, " She might have hired Charlie to swipe Kazoo for her." This proves that Teddy is investigating who poached Kazoo the Koala.

POINT OF VIEW: Poached is written from the 1st person point of view. I know this because on page 57 Teddy says, " I protested." This shows that the book is in first person because Teddy says "I".
