De inleiding heeft mij wreed enthousiast gekregen boek 1 is wel een beetje yikes wel
Een hoop dat een beetje de hedendaagse antivaxer en zo manosfeer vibes geeft ik bedoel 'Is one trying to train Emile to the sound of a firearm?' dan gaat ie van pistoolschot naar letterlijk kanonnenschoten en explosieven

Read most of Emile for graduate class. Illuminating on Rousseau's views and a brilliant piece educating his reader about how to educate his pupil. Don't agree with everything re: his view of human nature, but he has a lot to offer re: letting natural boundaries and attachments teach a pupil.

Trying to follow the trains of thought railing this way and that. He’s got a mind at work - full of antagonism and contrarian paradox.
