Okay so one, this is hilarious so far and I'm enjoying it a lot, and two, I appreciate the phrasing about writing about two genders, not both.

I've heard Ms. Frampton tends to take liberties with historical romance, but in all fairness, it's fiction. You have to allow yourself to suspend belief a little bit. Armchair e-reader reviewers are often quite spiteful. It's why I don't go by ratings alone.
