I'm skipping around a bit instead of reading it in a linear fashion but I am enjoying it. They are stories so each section could be set apart as its own. I love it because you don't find much on the sense of touch. I find a lot on the sense of sight or even sent but touch, never. I am enjoying his work and can't wait to continue.

Absolutely gorgeous writing. I was really enjoying the first story and I still did, but endings where I don't get at least some answers make me bananas.

Beginning with Minneapolis: not my kind of story, but I'm happily married. I can understand not settling for comfortable though.

The first story was rather interesting. It was well written. Personally it strikes me as sad through and through. While the end is technically left in mystery, that family can drive people to such extremes of character is heartbreaking.

Some of the stories are simply unpredictable. You keep reading because you don't know how it's going to end. You don't really understand, just like in "As her heart is navigated". But "Big Blue" was so close to perfect. So simple, so honest.

I'm on page 108 of 288 of The Peculiar Memories of: The sense of touch is a wonderful story, so deep and complex that I must admit I don't really understand. Definitely worth a second read to understand, but even without really understanding, the gloominess of it all stays. Guess I'm touched.
