Disappointed for not finishing this within my monthly budget of audiobook hours, but it’ll be done by the time the weeks up and sometimes that’ll just have to do

A Woman’s Place Is in the Kitchen by Sally Abé really resonated with me as a former female chef working in a male-dominated industry. Her honesty about the realities of professional kitchens the pressure, the hierarchy, and the fight to be taken seriously felt very real and relatable.

I loved how it balances the challenges with the passion for food and the determination it takes to succeed.
